Back when I was about 15, I used to stay up all night chatting on BBS's (that's how people connected on computers before there was the Internet), and the only free BBS in town that had multiple lines (and thus chat) knocked you off every five minutes if the lines were full and you didn't have a paid account (which I couldn't afford). Also if you didn't have a paid account you didn't have an account on the system, you just entered a handle every time you logon.. well, I'd gotten tired of all the handles I'd been using that I already came up with, so I pulled three syllables out of the air randomly--in, ha, and he, and I guess I liked it because that's the one that stuck all these years.
